Alex Murphy is committed to bringing innovative, subversive and galvanising new work to the stage. He is the producer for three theatre companies: Needless Alley, (where.to – Camden Peoples Theatre, Summerhall), Caligula’s Alibi (Idiots – Pleasance Courtyard) and Giants Theatre (Piece of Silk – Bush Theatre Reading). He has previously produced the immersive Fifth Column by Colab Theatre and for Rattleback Theatre (Hoxton Gallery). He is the co-founder of The Bad Birches (@thebadbirches), an online platform that produces video content – bringing theatre to a digital audience.
