Not only is the list of jobs small; its fiendishly competitive. My friend used to volunteer for unicorn theatre. Applied for a job and didn’t even get shortlisted! Despite his performing arts degree! I volunteered in deprived areas of Manchester doing theatre workshops, I don’t bother applying to theatre roles because I know I don’t stand a chance, nearly 8 years after I graduated.
